TIRES AND TIRES AS A NECESSARY EVIL

OLD TIRES, ONE ENVIRONMENTAL PROBLEM

There is no doubt that the use of tires is unavoidable for humans because we need it for mobilization.  Tires are one of the main part of cars, motorcycles, bicycles, trucks, tractors, etc. Those means of transportation use billions of tires, therefore billions of tires produce tire-garbage.

Initially, tires had been collected and disposed in order to solve the problem. But, to assign the responsibility was not easy owing to the fact that the environmental damage is growing.

The National Association of Colombia (ANDI) says, ANDI have not been obligated legally to collect tires in Bogotá, but they have been in charged of the program to encourage post-consumer tires.

We are sorry to say this but tires go side to side. To our mind the collection program of the Ministry of Environment is not giving the results needed in Bogota. To fix the tires problem, the Mayor and Environmental Authorities need reviewing their policies on the subject.

It is clear that more needs to be done to protect the environment, because of tires lying on the streets. They are generating more and more pollution, "not just enough that these collection sites are present, to achieve the goal of collaboration is needed people "Because the city cannot afford to spend time waiting and waiting because it´s difficult for many people understand that if the tires are burned they cause environmental tragedies due to air pollution which causes respiratory complications. Moreover, many tires are sent to the rivers causing a huge environmental impact.

Tire-Garbage has been a problem for many years

SOLUTION

Recycling & Environments

Participating in the event of use of recyclable items such as environmental conservation

Tire recycling is a very useful and simple gesture that appreciates the environment in several ways. The need for new raw materials to create products and all its process of extraction, transportation, processing and energy cost decreases to reuse recycled waste. It also prevents these containers end up in the streets, warehouses or rivers increasingly saturated with problems of environmental impact. Therefore, the tire recycling also contributes to reducing emissions of greenhouse gases.

Participate in protecting the environment also has to do with helping to recycle tires and reduce the amount of waste that they leave.

Waste recycling benefits the environment in many ways. Protects natural resources, it reduces the need for raw materials and reduces the amount of residues that are harmful to air, land, water and our health.

The government and industry could make a little effort
